Mountain-Pacific Quality Health Joins National Health Care Improvement Network
(Helena, Mont.) – Mountain-Pacific is pleased to announce we are joining The Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement (NRHI), a recognized leader in transforming health care. As a full member of the NRHI network, Mountain-Pacific joins more than 30 member Regional Health Improvement Collaboratives (RHICs) and two state-affiliated partners in the pursuit of better health, better care and reduced costs for communities across the country.
“Our mission to provide innovative solutions for better health in our local communities perfectly aligns with NHRI’s nationwide goals to improve health and health care,” says Sara Medley, Mountain-Pacific’s CEO. “One of the greatest challenges for our country today is making our health care system affordable while maintaining and improving its quality. The more partners involved in this effort, the greater success we’ll have, and there are few partners more influential and effective in health care quality improvement than NRHI.”
Mountain-Pacific holds federal and state contracts to work in Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands to improve the delivery of health care and the systems that provide it. Mountain-Pacific partners with providers, stakeholders and communities to focus on the needs of Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries and, by extension, all patients and their familes to ensure they receive the best possible, most cost-effective care.
“We are thrilled to welcome Mountain-Pacific to our network,” says Elizabeth Mitchell, President and CEO of NRHI. “RHICs play a unique and critical role in health care. As non-partisan, multi-stakeholder groups, the information and best practices they develop reflect local experience and respond to real-world needs. This makes them actionable in ways no other group is able to achieve. Mountain-Pacific’s insight and experience will enhance our geographic reach and community engagement in new areas of the country as we work to improve affordability and quality of healthcare for all Americans.”
As a national, non-partisan and nonprofit organization, NRHI also works to translate federal and state policy into action for stakeholders across the health care spectrum and advocate on members’ behalf with policymakers. Mountain-Pacific looks forward to contributing to these efforts.
